World Ocean Summit

Taking place from March 1st-5th, the World Ocean Summit Virtual Week will bring together key ocean stakeholders leading the acceleration towards a sustainable ocean economy. The week offers the opportunity to access curated content and make meaningful connections no matter where you are in the world.

 

The plenary panel on CLIMATE AND NATURE: How nature-based solutions can mitigate climate change will focus on the ocean as a source of solutions and its crucial role in mitigating climate change. Speakers will assess the options for protecting and restoring ocean habitats and the food systems they support.  They will discuss the investment and risk— and the positive impact of these solutions on carbon storage and ocean health.
